“Red Canoe” is the third painting I did at this river near Portland, Oregon. There were rowing crews traversing the waterway, then, all was still. This rower made her way across a glass-like river, so, I needed to paint this right away. View
Wow, Sandra! That’s some reveiw! You covered all the questions that I would’ve asked. The rough paper looks interesting. I didn’t know Hahnemühle paper was so durable! Thanks for the thorough and enjoyable review and videos!
Vidya, I enjoyed reading about your continuing creative journey. You’ve discovered that the learning process is most profound when you learned to teach yourself, through patience, experimentation, discernment, and most of all, practice. Your paintings are beautiful and exprsss the wonderful person that you are. Thank you for sharing and inspiring me!
Charlie, when I saw a Lava lamp at the Hallmark store the other day, I thought of you! 😀 Our family celebrates 12 Days of Christmas. When the children were little, we would all do small good deeds, and on the eve of Jan. 6th (the Twelfth Day), they would leave shoes at the front door to hold gifts from the Three Kings.
Charlie, I admire the person who “shows up.” You provide inspiration through your personal stories and musings. Thank you for allowing us to borrow a little of your light. Thank you for being the lighthouse!
