Problems with Daniel Smith?!

    Thank you for your most informative post Jane!

    Daniel Smith and Da Vinci are my favorite brands of watercolors, Daniel Smith first, Da Vinci second.

    I now know how to  proceed in case of issues! Invaluable information for us newer artists! 😃

    The problem with old watercolor paint tubes is that they can get dry. It’s difficult to get the cap off. For me, warming up the cap helps. I just put the tube in a warm glass of water and turn it upside down. Using glycerin or honey to coat the cap is another option. These substances aid in the softening of the paint.
